About our Client

We are excited to be working with one of the UK's top Garden Centres, who are looking to find a passionate Garden Centre Manager to join their team. They are a family run business that prides itself on all things gardening, ensuring the customer experience is one to enjoy.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of this busy and successful site. You will be working closely with the team to make sure everyone is motivated, providing excellent customer service and work efficiently. Your passion for retail will be evident, and you will enjoy supporting colleagues with shop layouts and creating interesting displays Managing budgets, stock control and health and safety will also fall into your remit.

The Ideal Candidate

This role is ideal for someone who has worked in a senior management position within a retail environment before. You will be a good leader with strong communications skills, with an interest in developing the team around you. Horticultural knowledge is not essential, but an interest to learn is key, as you will be required to learn about the different departments within the Garden Centre.
