General Manager - Commercial | Fresh Produce

We are working exclusively with a very highly regarded Fresh Produce business who are looking to take on a Commercially focussed General Manager. They have supplying premium Fresh Produce to the retailers for a number of years and they have built an outstanding reputation. They currently have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to take on a very commercially focussed General Manager role. The business is completely people led and it is essential that they find someone who will continue this approach.

The Role:-
You will be working very closely with the MD and supporting them across the business whilst maintaining and developing their customer relationships.
You will have an overview of all area's of the business and be responsible for driving improvements where possible.
They have a number of projects on going as well which you will be able to get involved in and help through to completion.

The Candidate:-
You will be an experienced Senior Commercial manager with experience of dealing with growers and the UK Retailers.
You will have a good overview of the other functions of the business and be capable to pick these up in order to support the team fully.
Being a good people person is crucial. The business has been built on the strength and trust of their team and they will look to continue this.
