This is an exciting opportunity for a General Manager who will act as the family's executive on the Holiday Park and Arboretum. The overall goal is the effective and sustainable management of the Holiday Park. With an already magnificent portfolio, the Estate has both the desire and capacity to grow further. In order to do so, we are currently searching for an ambitious General Manager.

About the Job
The job presents an exciting opportunity to take a lead role on a large Estate with varied and ongoing new projects. As the General Manager you will act as the family and Trustees' representative on the Estate.

The candidate should have oversight of the Estate's finances, and take responsibility for staffing, maintenance, and delivering the long-term strategies and short-term goals set by the Advisory Board. Execute long-term strategies of the family as defined by the family and advisory board. Direct day-to-day running of the Holiday Park to ensure profitability and sustainability. Ensure sales of holiday homes to high-end customers who will add value to the park and holidaymakers.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have considerable experience with holiday park management, or estate management with holiday park experience. The ability to read and analyse financial statements; IT-savvy; excellent verbal and written communication; SM aware/adept, results-driven and diligent; strong ability to prioritise and adapt; keen on process optimisation.

The desirable candidate will be adept at building strong relationships with a drive to take a lead role in the business and key to manage stakeholders at all levels. A strategic thinker with interest and understanding of the management of the environment and its natural capital.
