Key Account Manager

We are working with a leading provider of sustainable agricultural solutions, dedicated to helping farmers overcome real on-farm challenges. What You Will Be Doing

As a Key Account Manager, you will be field-based, working closely with a distribution partner to provide technical and commercial support. You will take full ownership of your territory, building strong relationships with the distributor and farmers driving the adoption of high-value agronomic solutions.

Your role will include:

  • Providing dedicated support and training to distribution partners and their teams.
  • Joining advisors on farm visits to offer tailored technical advice and commercially focused insights.
  • Developing and growing on farm sales of soil conditioners, crop nutrition and animal welfare products.
  • Retaining existing business while identifying new opportunities through data-driven analysis and trials.
  • Creating Nutrient Management Plans and other recommendations that demonstrate clear ROI for farmers.
  • Keeping up to date with industry knowledge, regulations, and market trends.
  • Accurately logging interactions and updates using CRM systems.

What You Need

We are looking for a motivated individual with the credibility to advise farmers and the drive to deliver results. You should have:

  • A full UK driving licence.
  • FACTS certification (up to date).
  • Experience preparing or interpreting Nutrient Management Plans (RB209 or equivalent).
  • On farm experience in farming, agronomy, or commercial farm advice.
  • Strong technical and commercial awareness, with confidence in building trusted relationships.
  • Experience working with or through agricultural distributors, merchants, or cooperatives.
  • The ability to work independently in a field based role.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools.
  • Desirable: A degree (or equivalent) in Agriculture, Agronomy, Animal Science, or a related subject.
