Key Account Manager (Wholesale & Retail) | London/South East
We are working with a global fresh produce brand renowned around the world for their quality and continued success. This business is looking to grow their established & current UK accounts as far as possible while adding new ones where possible. To do this they are looking to add a skilled account manager to their UK team who will be responsible for accounts that range across retail, food service and wholesale. This will be backed by the wider business and supported by a large team.
The nuts and bolts of this role will still remain around day-to-day management of customer relationships while utilising ethical sales methods to continue the excellent service provided by the business currently. This will involve travel across the UK to meet clients and develop long lasting relationships on behalf of the business and developing new relationships where possible. As the team is very spread out, there will be a requirement to do your own sales admin where required to keep processes moving forward, along with a lot of communication with the wider team.
This will be a mix of proactive sales and trading along with relationship management, working in a unique environment that will offer you a great change of pace and the opportunity to work with a large well renowned brand.
The Successful Candidate:
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
Ideally experience working with retail, wholesale and food service accounts in the fresh produce sector.
Minimum 2 years' experience working in a commercial role in the fresh produce sector.
Happy to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication, Microsoft office and relationship building skills.
