About our Client

This family-owned business has been established for over 40 years and is currently growing on over 40 acres. They sell in their own cash and carry to a variety of customers in the horticulture industry. Our client grows a variety of stock including perennials, shrubs and herbaceous and are looking for a grower to support their operation.

About the Role

In this role, you will be managing and motivating staff to ensure all objectives are met in a timely manner. You will work closely with the team around you to ensure the wellbeing of the crops, pests and diseases, and irrigation and is always monitored. You will also support in despatch, by collating customers orders and loading and unloading lorries as appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate

This role is ideal for someone that has worked in a busy environment before and is keen to learn and develop. Working in a horticultural environment is ideal, as you will understand the pressures. This job is very physical, so you must be comfortable working outdoors and on your feet.
