We are excited to be working with an independent, family-run garden centre with customer service at the heart of everything they do. Due to growth, they are looking for a Plant Area Manager to join their team.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the plant area is immaculate and always appealing to customers. You will be managing and motivating a small team and be excited about passing on your horticultural knowledge to both colleagues and customers. Buying and sourcing stock is a key element of this role. There is a very real opportunity for the development of the plant area, and the challenge of this will drive you to succeed.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have worked in a Garden Centre before and be confident in managing a team of people. Plants will be your passion, and you will be confident in using your knowledge to maximise sales. Previous experience in buying and sourcing stock is essential. You will be self-sufficient and confident in making decisions, and there is an element of autonomy in this role.
