About our client

Our client is based near Plymouth and they are looking for someone to join the business who can play a key role in actively agreeing, undertaking and implementing plant health management and control. Our client is a family owned and very well-regarded horticultural business specialising in ornamental plants.

About the role

The role will involve crop walking, checking for pest and disease, looking at pest management, spraying the plants. Also checking all good going out and checking goods that are in production. Gathering data and reports from other members of staff and looking / recommending what needs to happen next.

About the Candidate

We are looking for someone to be knowledgeable in plant health, pest and disease recognition, prevention and control techniques and applications. You would need to be PA1 & PA6 qualified and ideally have a good experience and background in application of crop control and biological controls within their integrated crop management program.
