About Our Client

Our client is a specialist Horticulture business who are committed to supplying an excellent standard of product to the sector in the UK. Although well established, they are also a growing business who frequently invest into both people and process and make customer service a real priority.

About the Job

Due to this growth as mentioned they have a new and exciting opportunity to manage the Produciton department, reporting into the CEO. Leading a team of circa 60 people, you will oversee a busy production department ensuring KPI's and productivity targets are met. You will also play a key part in the senior leadership team.

The Ideal Candidate

They are looking for a proactive, adaptive and hands-on Operations and Production Manager to support the busy function of the senior Manager in a range of tasks. Ideally you will come from the horticulture sector but otherwise short shelf life / perishable goods experience is essential from the food or fresh produce sector.
