Project Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in ERP implementation within the food manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will possess expertise not only in ERP systems but also in lean manufacturing principles and business transformation initiatives specific to the food industry.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure all projects have a clearly defined scope and objectives.
• Coordinate the planning of all Workstreams within the projects, ensuring plans are realistic, aligned across Workstreams, and will meet the project objectives.
• Utilize best practice project management tools and techniques, and train Workstream Leads and team members to use these too.
• Hold Workstream Leads accountable for project delivery, & for process discipline
• Ensures conflict resolution when differences arise between Workstreams or designs.
• Ensure the total project and all sub-projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget.
• Perform risk management analysis to identify and reduce project risks.
• Manage the change request process ensuring scope and design changes are controlled and approved as appropriate.
• Facilitate and Chair Steering Committee meetings, setting agendas, ensuring adequate decision-making, and issuing resultant action minutes.
• Separately track project costs and delivery of financial benefits versus the business case.
• Manage design sign-off with the operational business leadership and other key stakeholders.

Required

• Proven experience in project management, specifically in ERP implementation within the food manufacturing sector.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and experience in driving business transformation initiatives.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Qualifications in project management or related field preferred
