We are working in partnership with a major player in the fresh produce industry as they continue to grow from strength to strength. They are looking to add to their Quality team by taking on a Quality Controller (QC) at their site based in Cambridgeshire.

Previous experience within the food industry is desirable although experience within a quality environment within fresh produce will also be considered. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to think on their feet, explore new ideas and problem solve issues where necessary.

The purpose of the role is to assess the quality auditing of citrus and grape on intake, packing and out loading to ensure all products are to customer & internal specifications.

You will be responsible for a range of tasks including:
Temperature checking of product and actions in accordance with Temperature Procedure.
Identify non-conforming product and agree corrective actions with internal functions.
To undertake & develop audits to improve site protocols & standards.
To fully complete and send supplier reports within agreed time scales, with supportive photographs and details for claim.
