Our client is a leading producer of natural herb and spice flavour extracts and they are looking for someone to join their Technical / Regulatory team to provide quality systems regulatory and technical product support for internal and external customers. You will ensure that their products comply with all UK and EU government regulations and law to ensure the manufacturing and sale of food ingredients are safe.

The Job:
Support the business operations in Europe, the Middle East & Africa with regulatory issues.
Respond to regulatory enquiries from customers and the business sales force with regards to use of products, labelling guidance.
Complete customer product and supplier approval questionnaires.
Keep up to date with current and up and coming regulatory / legislation changes.
Attend technical meetings with Associations as and when required.
Working with the business to deliver the required documentation, working practices for BRC accreditation.

The Candidate:
You will have over 5 years' experience in a food related position.
Your knowledge will be underpinned by a degree in Food Science or a Chemistry related subject.
Be comfortable delivering regulatory guidance to customers based in interpretation of regulations.
Ability to work cross functionally, leading meetings and teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with research and investigation of quality and regulatory questions.
Experience of BRC Global standards.
