We are working with a fantastic family-owned business, who are looking for a retail supervisor to join the team.

About our Client

Our client has been established for over 50 years and still has its family values at heart. They grow all their own stock in their nursery and has a café on site. We are looking for a retail supervisor to join the team and support the busy operation.

About the Role

As a supervisor, you will be responsible for a small team daily. You will ensure the smooth running of your specific area, which is focussing on the outdoor living area / Christmas department. You will work with the retail manager to plan and create attractive displays and purchase the day-to-day stock requirements. Customer service is at the heart of the role, and you will be confident in giving advice, handling orders, and supporting with any queries. This is a close-knit team, and you will be happy to support in other areas of the business as and when required.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have a passion for customer service and want to provide the best advice to everyone you speak too. You will have experience in a retail background and will have ideally worked in a Garden Centre in the past. You will be confident in running a small team or looking to take the step up. Having an interest in gardening is important.
