We are looking for someone to join a growing team in the Canterbury area, with a range of clients and a growing base there is a need for a rural surveyor.

Our client

We are working with a leading independent firm of chartered surveyors' agricultural valuers, planning consultants and farm and estate agents providing a diverse range of property-related services throughout the region.

The role

The opportunity has arisen because of a growing client base and to take the load off the rest of the team. The office has an excellent mix of personalities and experience. With support from the director, you will be able to grow your skillset and career. There is a mix of work available which can be tailored around the candidate.

Working with longstanding clients there is an immediate body of work for you to pick up with a fully supported handover to ensure your long-term success.

With a structured career plan, there is a real opportunity to progress within the company with wider specialisation available if interested.

In return they will provide support and hands on training to ensure you thrive in the company with the ability to progress.

The candidate

The successful candidate will be MRICS and ideally, CAAV qualified with experience in the rural sector, able to provide recommendations to clients based on technical knowledge and experience. You will be a keen networker, confident, resourceful, and capable of building and maintaining good relationships with colleagues and clients.

An affinity with and knowledge of farming and the agricultural community is essential.
