About the Role

As Seasonal Plant Team Leader, you will be focused on ensuring the seasonal plant area is of the highest standard. You will be excited about providing excellent customer service and encouraging the team around you to do the same. Your passion for horticulture will be evident, and you will be able to use this to offer advice to customers, create excellent displays and maintain stock. You will be confident in stock control, working closely with the buying team to ensure the best products are readily available.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience in working in a garden centre environment and be looking for a new challenge or a step up. You will have great horticulture knowledge and an interest in passing this knowledge onto colleagues and customers. You will be confident in running a small team and can train, develop, and motivate the people around you. You will have a commercial mind, knowing stock control methods, increasing add-on sales, and acknowledging areas of improvement within the plant area.
