About Our Client

Our client is leading cooperative that grows a selection of top fruit and soft fruit to supply into the UK retailers.

About the Job

The role will very hands-on, to manage the quality and technical standards for the business, and drive the quality standards forward. You will manage and motivate a small QC team, you will work closely with customers to ensure they get the best quality products available. You will be responsible for audits for the business including BRC, SEDEX and ETI.

The Ideal Candidate

Ideally educated to Degree Level in a Food Science, Horticulture or Agriculturally based discipline or equivalent. HACCP and Food Safety Level 3 is a must-have, experience of Internal & 3rd Party Auditing including BRC, ETI Ethical audits, SEDEX, etc. You must have experience of fresh produce, ideally top fruit.

You will have a proven track record of driving quality standards forward and improving processes within a business. You will build good working relationships internal and external.
