Are you working within Food, Fresh Produce, or FMCG? Do you have experience within a busy, fast-paced planning team? If you tick these two boxes, then I am always keen to speak to you, especially for the fact that I am looking to recruit for an exciting position that will definitely be of interest to you.

About the company

We are working with an incredibly well-established and long-standing Food business, in North London. As a result of their success, and the increased volume through the business, they are looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of a Supply Chain Planner. You will be a key part of the Planning team, keeping close contact with their suppliers and customers ensuring the products move smoothly from source on to their customers.

About the role

This role would see you thriving in a busy department, liaising with logistics, internal supply chain, and commercial team. Your role will be to liaise with suppliers and the internal production and distribution teams, to ensure the supply chain runs smoothly. As with any new role, the key to this role will be in relationship building between multiple different teams.

The ideal candidate

The candidate we are looking for will ideally have a background in planning and have knowledge of how Food/Fresh Produce moves around the UK at a pace, unmatched by any other industry. Experience in fresh produce would be beneficial but isn't essential, but understand that Food/Fresh Produce is quick. This could be a good step up for someone looking to move into a Supply Chain role. There is a lot of scope to develop this role and for the right person, there will be excellent progression opportunities.
