Visual Merchandiser - Flagship Store
📍 South London
🕒 Full-time | Permanent
💷 Competitive salary (depending on experience)

We're recruiting on behalf of our client. They're known for their creative retail spaces, knowledgeable team, and loyal customer following.

Their flagship store is looking for a Visual Merchandiser to lead the look and feel of the shop - someone with a great eye, strong retail instincts, and a genuine passion for creating engaging, high-impact displays.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, creative role where no two days are quite the same. You'll be responsible for maintaining visual standards across all key product areas - houseplants, pots, homewares, gifts, and more.

The role involves refreshing the layout after busy weekends, getting the shop floor ready for Thursday plant deliveries, and working closely with the buying and store teams to ensure stock is presented in the best possible way.

You'll also play a part in coaching the wider team and occasionally stepping into a keyholder role when needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in visual merchandising, ideally in lifestyle, home, or garden retail

  • A natural eye for styling and space planning

  • Confident working independently and as part of a close-knit team

  • Comfortable with the physical side of the role - lifting, unpacking, setting up displays

  • Friendly, professional, and customer-focused

  • Some plant knowledge would be great - or a genuine interest in learning quickly

What They Offer

  • A supportive, creative, and down-to-earth working environment

  • 40-hour week, including some weekends and bank holidays

  • 28 days holiday (rising to 34 over time)

  • Extra day off for your birthday after a year

  • Pension contributions

  • Study support for job-related courses

  • Generous staff discount

  • Performance-based incentives

  • Health & wellbeing support

  • Cycle to Work Scheme

  • Opportunities to grow with the business

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of visual presentation in a beautiful retail environment, with the backing of a friendly and committed team.
