Wayleave Officer | Energy & Infrastructure | Northumberland

We're currently looking for wayleave officers' experienced in electrical infrastructure to assist with the ongoing upgrades and maintenance of the network. This will be a secondment but with the job security for a permanent contract and support of a larger company with multiple infrastructure projects across the UK.

We are proud to be working with a household name who are the global leader in engineering and consultancy services. Experienced in land access rights and wayleaves across a range of infrastructure projects in the UK.

The role

We are looking for a wayleave officer who will be based around Northumberland and the surrounding areas. This will be a mix of working from home and site visits, occasionally at short notice should there be an urgent repair needed.

You will be seconded to the client who will manage the day-to-day work.

You will be responsible for arranging access onto land to allow the management of overhard electrical work, dealing with compensation claims, and landowners.

The work will involve a fantastic combination of office and outside work with fantastic views of the countryside

The candidate

Liaising with different departments and stakeholders the ideal candidate will naturally be a good communicator with an eye for detail.

Experience in utility work is necessary and an understanding of rural issues an advantage so you can hit the ground running.
