We're supporting a leading fresh produce business in hiring a B2B Account Manager to oversee a rapidly expanding retail account now worth over £3.5m. The partnership has grown faster than anticipated, and the business now needs someone dedicated to managing the relationship day-to-day - ensuring consistent communication, smooth delivery, and a standout customer experience.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in account management or commercial coordination within fresh produce, food manufacturing, or FMCG, who's ready to take ownership of a high-profile customer.
The role:
- Take full ownership of a key retail account, acting as the main day-to-day contact
- Build strong relationships with the customer and internal teams to ensure service excellence
- Manage data, forecasts, and performance reports, ensuring information is accurate and up to date
- Oversee delivery, stock, and availability performance to keep things running smoothly
- Identify opportunities to strengthen the relationship and drive account growth
- Focus on key product areas such as mango, ensuring high quality and consistency
