We are partnering with a market leading food manufacturer known for its extensive portfolio of both branded and own-label products. The Role:
This is a key leadership position overseeing the performance and operations of several Broiler farms. You will work closely with Farm Managers and Relief Managers, providing support to meet operational goals while maintaining exceptional standards in bird welfare and farm productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee production across multiple broiler sites.
Support Farm Managers in achieving performance metrics including productivity, animal welfare and biosecurity, ensuring compliance with all quality and safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders to drive flock health and operational success.
Provide regular updates to the Regional Manager on stock performance and farm operations.
Lead, coach, and develop farm teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Collaborate with HR on employee relations and performance matters.
Deliver on-call support for allocated sites, assisting others when required.
Ensure full adherence to animal welfare and health & safety standards.
What You Need:
Proven experience in a similar role within agriculture or poultry management.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of team development and performance improvement.
Excellent decision making and problem solving abilities.
Sound understanding of poultry welfare, H&S legislation and biosecurity standards.
A valid UK driving licence (travel between sites is required).
Desirable:
Experience within large scale farming or agri business environments.
Familiarity with HR policies and best practices in team management.
