About the Company:-
You will be working with a business who have been pushing the boundaries of Fresh Produce for a long time. Whether that is looking at different uses for products, new markets or improving on traditional channels as well. They have invested heavily in ensuring they remain as a marketing leading operator and as a result of some internal changes, they now have a need for a Commercial Director to help continue this constant drive for improvement.

About the role:-
You will be working closely with the Managing Director to push and adapt the commercial strategy. You will be responsible for the overall management of the Commercial and Procurement teams, ensuring everyone understands what is required of them. Their customers range from main stream retailers, to processors and food service clients as well. There is also the opportunity to look at new ventures and channels which haven't yet been tapped.

The Ideal Candidate:-
You will need to have a good high level understanding of Fresh Produce, both from a Commercial and a Procurement point of view. You will likely have held a Commercial Controller or Commercial Director role previously and be used to working with a range of customers across Retail and Non-retail. Due to the nature of the role, they would be looking for the right person to be in the office for 4-5 days a week (external visits notwithstanding) but they are in a beautiful part of Norfolk which a lot of people would aspire to be in longer term.
