Engineering Planning Administrator | Peterborough | £32k
Are you passionate about food and looking for an opportunity to make a real impact? I am working with one of the world's leading food manufacturers and they are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Engineering Planner Administrator to join the team. In this role, you'll support the Engineering department, manage budgets, and play a key part in planning Preventative Maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, quality, and legal standards. Lead by example and support HSE initiatives.
- Budget Management: Maintain and update maintenance budgets, attend weekly budget meetings, and generate budget reports.
- Preventative Maintenance: Support the team using the Preventative Maintenance System (Piranha) by adding new tasks, uploading completed tasks, and building reports.
- Stock & Inventory Control: Manage stock, inventory controls, and the asset register across all sites.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to and support continuous improvement projects and maintain high standards during audits and customer visits.
- Quality Assurance: Work closely with the Quality Team to ensure adherence to quality and food safety systems and promote a culture of continuous improvement in product quality.
Relationships and Authority:
- Report directly to the Factory Manager
- Collaborate with Engineering Coordinators across UK sites.
- Build strong working relationships with Process Managers, Packing Managers, Hygiene Managers, Quality Managers, Warehouse Managers, and HSE Managers.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Engineering planning and administrative experience is essential.
- Skills: Excellent organisational and planning skills, attention to detail, strong computer literacy, and good communication skills.
- Attributes: Ability to work in a team, analytical mindset, and enthusiasm for continuous improvement.
- Competencies: Strong time management, flexibility, adaptability, and an approachable style.
- Experience working with safety systems or in a safety-focused environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Engineering Planning and Administrative Experience (Essential)
- Full UK Driver's License (Essential)
