A generational family-owned business, this Food processing business, is a well re-nowed business that is a leader in their product category.

About the Role

With a well-recognized fleet, the business boasts a strong fleet, with over 60 units at its disposal. Ultimately this role is to oversee this fleet, leading the fleet and workshop operation. Working within this fast-paced environment, you will need to have a hands-on approach, however, have an attention to detail and requirement for the highest standards of operating. Aligning with this, you will therefore need to ensure that the operation and fleet are operating in line with current regulations and compliance.

The Ideal Candidate

Ideally, you will have in-depth knowledge in areas of compliance (legislation, productivity, quality, and service) in accordance with O license obligations, and have a thorough understanding of how each element in the transport environment affects the other areas of business. Working in a similar environment will be advantageous, with an understanding of fast-paced environments, working in food or fresh produce.
