Food Hall Manager
Location: Nottingham
Working Hours: Full-time, including alternate weekends
Salary: Competitive, DOE

Join a successful, well-established garden centre group and take ownership of a high-performing Food Hall department. This is a commercially focused role for a food retail professional who enjoys leading teams, curating quality ranges, and delivering an engaging customer experience.

You'll be responsible for driving standards, sales, and team performance within a destination Food Hall that attracts a loyal, quality-focused customer base.

The Role

  • Lead, motivate, and develop your team to deliver excellent service.
  • Maintain high standards of merchandising, presentation, and availability.
  • Manage stock control, ordering, rotation, and waste.
  • Work closely with suppliers, including sourcing local and regional producers.
  • Analyse sales and margin performance to optimise ranges and drive growth.
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety and health & safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support a seamless customer journey.

About You

  • Proven experience in food retail or specialist retail management.
  • Commercially minded with strong organisational skills.
  • Confident leader with experience managing and developing teams.
  • Strong product knowledge across ambient, chilled, and seasonal food (desirable).
  • Detail-focused with a passion for quality food retailing.
