What's the job?

You'll be part of the core nursery team, helping to grow, maintain and prepare a wide range of plants.

Every day will be different, and you'll get plenty of opportunities to learn as you go.

Day‑to‑day, you'll be involved in:

  • Potting, watering and general plant care
  • Propagating new plants and maintaining stock quality
  • Monitoring crops for pests and diseases
  • Supporting crop protection programmes
  • Keeping accurate stock control
  • Maintaining nursery facilities, equipment and workspaces
  • Inspecting and preparing plants ready for dispatch
  • Helping keep the nursery safe, tidy and well‑organised

What do I need?

  • Some horticultural knowledge and experience working with plants
  • Ideally, you'll have your PA1 and PA6, but it's not essential.
  • Enthusiasm - a real drive to learn, grow and be part of a busy nursery team.
  • If you're motivated and keen to develop, full training will be provided.
