What's the job?
You'll be part of the core nursery team, helping to grow, maintain and prepare a wide range of plants.
Every day will be different, and you'll get plenty of opportunities to learn as you go.
Day‑to‑day, you'll be involved in:
- Potting, watering and general plant care
- Propagating new plants and maintaining stock quality
- Monitoring crops for pests and diseases
- Supporting crop protection programmes
- Keeping accurate stock control
- Maintaining nursery facilities, equipment and workspaces
- Inspecting and preparing plants ready for dispatch
- Helping keep the nursery safe, tidy and well‑organised
What do I need?
- Some horticultural knowledge and experience working with plants
- Ideally, you'll have your PA1 and PA6, but it's not essential.
- Enthusiasm - a real drive to learn, grow and be part of a busy nursery team.
- If you're motivated and keen to develop, full training will be provided.
