We are working on a very exciting opportunity with a successful grower in South Lancashire.

About the Client
Our client is the UK's largest alpine grower who is now looking for a grower to join their team. They are a leading supplier of plants to UK retailers and independent garden centres. They grow and supply a wide variety of quality plants, including alpines, shrubs, and perennials. They have invested in their business and facilities to be able to produce the best quality products for their customers.

About the Role
This role will encompass growing over 700 varieties of alpines across over 20 acres. This will be a very hands-on growing role, working within a close-knit team. Pest and disease monitoring, spraying and irrigation, and crop husbandry will fall into your remit.

The Ideal Candidate
You will have previous experience working in a commercial horticulture environment and be looking for a new challenge. You will be confident in aspects of the growing operation and be passionate about what you do. Communication skills are key, as you will be working closely with a team and working collaboratively with other people in the business.
