About Our Client

We are currently working with a client who specialise in the production and distribution of quality young plants, poinsettias and added value products. Their site in Cambridgeshire is 50 acres, with 15 acres of modern glass and 2 acres of polythene tunnels. They are looking for a grower supervisor to join their busy operation

About The Role

You will be responsible to produce plants to the required specification. As a grower, pest and disease control will fall into your remit, as well as, spraying, moisture checks, and feed. You will also ensure the glasshouses are kept to high health and safety standards. This role is a supervisory position, so you will be overseeing a small team, ensuring they are working efficiently.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have basic plant knowledge and be able to demonstrate skills in irrigation and crop protection. Most importantly, you will have an enthusiasm for horticulture and a passion to learn. Ideally, you will have a qualification in horticulture and PA1 and PA6.
