Head of Sales | Foodservice | Fresh Produce
We are working with a well-established Foodservice business who are looking to bring in a Head of Sales, to cover their range of middle to high end restaurants and hotel customers. Like most people, they are seeing challenging times currently, but they have made great in roads at the beginning of 2020 and want to be in a strong position when the current challenges abate. Based in London, they are open to a candidate being based from home and heading into the office once or twice a week.
You will be a very hands-on Head of Sales. You will be responsible for building, developing and motivating the team of Key Account Managers. In addition, you will also be utilising your industry contacts and growing their customer base. This is predominantly within the middle to high end foodservice market, but they are considering ways of diversifying this as well to get a broader mix of customers. They are focussed on delivering the best fresh produce to some very discerning customers so your customer service will need to match this standard.
You will have an extensive background in fresh produce and an in-depth knowledge of the foodservice sector.
Experience of managing and developing teams is important as this will be a key part of the role.
