I'm currently working with a dynamic and thriving fresh produce business committed to delivering high-quality products to their customers. With a focus on sustainability, innovation, and excellence, they're dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

I'm currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an HR Assistant. You will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a leading fresh produce business.

So, what will you day to day look like?

  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Head of HR.
  • Compile and update employee records.
  • Process documentation as and when required.
  • Induction administration and ensure records are updated.
  • Assist with projects, meetings, training, surveys, events and system implementation.
  • Assist with employee requests relating to payroll, policies and regulation.
  • Support and manage the process for the seasonal workers (government regulations/checks, welfare, questionnaires ects).
  • Assist in payroll preparation by submitting relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc) to finance team.
  • Assist of Head of HR with recruitment administration, screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and providing feedback to candidates.
  • Implement and maintain a HR calendar with Head of HR for service anniversaries, birthdays and events.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating company LinkedIn pages.
  • To carry out any reasonable tasks as requested by Head of HR and Operations Manager.

You must be proficient with MS Office software and have a basic understanding of GDPR. Some familiarity with HR/payroll systems would be desirable. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, not afraid to roll your sleeves up, ambitious who's really looking to make an impact.
