Human Resources Manager - Part-time (3 days per week)
Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of dairy ingredients for the food, nutrition, and health sectors. As a proud, family-owned and operated business with a rich heritage, they have built their reputation from the ground up. Over the years, the company has grown significantly and despite their growth, they maintain a close-knit, family-oriented culture, with around 120 employees spread across three sites.
They are now seeking a dynamic HR Manager who aligns with their company culture, someone who brings a positive attitude, operational experience in FMCG, and a hands-on approach.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will take a genuine interest in how the business functions and be ready to engage fully as a true business partner. The company is looking for someone willing to go above and beyond, embrace new responsibilities, and integrate seamlessly into the team.
Main Responsibilities
The HR Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the company's next phase of growth and development. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues across various departments. This individual will be tasked with enhancing the HR function, ensuring it meets both the strategic and operational needs of the business.
The role includes
- Developing and implementing HR services across the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring high-quality and personalized support is provided to enable team and business growth.
- Combining modern HR best practices with the company's family-oriented values to foster a supportive, yet high-performance culture.
- Driving initiatives that support talent acquisition, retention, training, and overall employee development.
- Acting as a strategic advisor to the management team, delivering HR solutions that empower the company's leadership and drive success across the business
Required
- Similar industry experience would be an advantage, but cultural fit and attitude are key.
- Proven experience in shaping high-performance cultures, with a focus on employee development, recruitment, and retention.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in an HR role, with a track record of delivering tangible results.
- Ideally, candidates will have a degree in HR or CIPD Level 5 qualification, though this is not mandatory.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the company.
- A self-motivated professional who is equally comfortable working independently and as part of a team, with a proactive, can-do attitude.
