About Our Client

We are currently working with a very highly regarded and forward thinking Fresh Produce business who, as a result of significant growth in the last few years, are looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Manager. As a leader in their field, they have an impress history of delivering great results to a number of Major Retailers.

About the Job

The main purpose of the role is to initiate and develop internal control procedures and audit programmes designed to protect company assets and resources. The incumbent will report on findings and recommend changes to procedures and practices where appropriate. Prepare audit working papers and ensure that all the information required for the audit has been obtained and that any shortcomings have been reported. Checking that proper measures have been followed for the security of cash, documents and records in the area under audit.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will professionally be qualified with a minimum of 3 years' experience within a similar role. Knowledge of internal auditing methodologies and IFRS knowledge would be beneficial. A previous background within the fresh produce background would be ideal however, not essential.
