About Our Client

Our client is a market leader and innovative fresh produce business with a worldwide footprint. They are looking to strengthen their team with a supply chain co-ordinator.

The Role

This role is all about account management and development. You will utilise your natural curiosity and commercial acumen to help deliver solutions to the major retailers. You will have access to retailer data and customer insight in order to spot gaps in a customer's range. This role is not about having a range of products or catalogue to go and sell to buyers. You will be proactive in your approach and look at what the retailers are doing across their categories, look at the market data and trends to create real propositions that will add value to the retailers and the end consumers. This in turn will drive sales, account growth, market share and penetration - all of the results you need to develop your career and remit. Our client wants you to progress and take on more customers and responsibility You will need to be able to work at real pace and be able to adapt to short shelf life food products.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have some experience in managing/supporting the commercial relationship with UK retail accounts. You will be able to work with the retailers to create solutions, which will add value to them and their category performance. You will be proactive in your approach and will always have one eye on what the retailers are doing and what the latest trends are. You will be comfortable analysing data on consumers, retailers, market share etc to provide further insight on what the retailers are doing. Critically, you will have the commercial acumen and approach to use this knowledge and insight to identify and land opportunities to deliver commercial results. You will be comfortable communicating with the retailers you are dealing with (as well as those you aren't) consistently to ensure no commercial opportunities are missed.
