About our client:-
This is an incredible opportunity for an Operationally focussed Managing Director to join an established US based division with huge potential for continued growth. The UK retail supply chain and the processes within it are some of the best in the world. The business has exciting plans and you will be crucial in delivering them.

About the Role:-
Working closely with the CEO you will be responsible for driving the manufacturing and operational elements of the business. They work with a Joint Venture partner who handle all of the direct commercial conversations, but you will be in close contact in order to deal with mutual challenges. The team consists of 100 people, with direct line management of 6 other Director's / Heads of. You will have full P&L control of the division and will be responsible for its success and reporting to the wider group. You will be tasked at looking at how to continuously improve the processes within the business and drive this development across the board.

The Ideal Candidate:-
Clearly this isn't your usual run of the mill opportunity and is going to appeal to someone looking for a bit of an adventure. But it is a very exciting chance to go and work in an incredible location (New York State) for a business with great values and ambitions to grow significantly. Given the operational nature of the role, you will likely have held Senior Operations Director positions, or been an Operationally focussed MD for a Fresh Food or Fresh Produce manufacturing business. You will be able to work autonomously and not be phased about being separated from the broader group.
