About our Client

Our client grows on over 80 acres of prime land near Edinburgh, specialising in high-quality trees. They are focused on quality from the start and so source the best seed available for growing in the UK and grow over 30 million trees a year.

About The Role

In this role, you will support the nursery manager in all aspects of the growing process, from seed to sale. You will be responsible for running the daily operation, ensuring a small team around you are motivated and working efficiently. You will be confident in crop walking, monitoring for pest and diseases and spraying when required.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be confident in growing on a large scale and be happy to work outside in all weather conditions. You will have previous experience in a commercial environment, although working with trees is not essential. Driving tractors and forklifts will also fall into your remit, so you must be happy working with large machinery.
