About Our Client

The business has grown from strength to strength and holds a great reputation in the industry. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key part of the quality assurance team, focusing on assuring the quality of the product in the packhouse, supporting the operations team and completing all relevant compliance-related tasks.

About the Job

This is a hands-on role where will you need to work closely with your team to assure the product quality online. Day-to-day duties include ensuring required tasks are completed to maintain adherence to QMS, highlighting and guiding the packhouse team when actions/tasks fall outside of the correct procedures and shelf life and customer sample submission and control. Alongside this, you will need to work with Commercial Planners allowing accurate stock rotation based on actual quality and customer requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for candidates with experience working within quality in fresh produce factory environments, strong knowledge of QMS requirements and an understanding of FMCG's. You will need to have a good level of spoken and written English. You will be well organized, have good attention to detail and strong IT skills. To succeed in this role, you need to be an excellent communicator who enjoys working as part of a team.

This is a 12-month maternity cover role
