QA Technician | Wembley | Food Manufacturing

Our Client

Our client is a small food manufacturing business that has been running for over 30 years based near Wembley. This is a business that looks after its people and teamwork is key for success. As a small team, rolling your sleeves up and getting involved in all parts is a must. The business are looking for a QA Technician to be in charge of the company Quality System and contribute to the continuous improvement of the systems in place.

The role

You will manage all aspects of Quality, Food Safety & Legality on site ensuring the system is compliant with all standards. You will need to keep up to date with HACCP and other technical documents. You will be the main contact for quality / Technical queries and lead all NPD projects and product trials.

The candidate

You will be a self-motivated and organised individual with previously experience in the food environment. At least 1 year of experience in similar roles with knowledge of SALSA / BRC standards is an advantage. Food Science degree or related subject would be desirable. You will need to have strong knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety and being confident with quality systems.
