About the Role
This role will focus on value-added sales to farmers. You will build long term relationships with farmers across the South West to deliver sales targets. You will feel comfortable discussing the long-term benefits of products and machinery with farmers and help guide them through a sales process offering advice and information. You will manage the southwest territory and build upon the presence in the area. You will work with the training team and sales manager to develop your sales skills and knowledge of the products and business. You will organise sales calls and call cycles across the territory and maximise the use of your time to deliver targets.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will be a driven and passionate agriculture salesperson who is motivated to deliver sales targets and earn commissions. Ideally, you will have an agri based degree and will understand the inner works of a livestock/dairy/mixed farm. You will have a background in added value sales and have a track record of delivering sales to farmers in this area. You will be based in the South West of England and ideally, will have existing relationships with farmers in the territory.
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to be able to demonstrate your agriculture knowledge and ability to sell to farmers. You will also need to be dynamic, passionate and self-motivated to go and deliver sales targets.
The successful applicant will move through a two-stage interview process. The first stage will be an online interview before travelling to a face-to-face meeting at the HQ in Lincolnshire. Our client is committed to making this appointment asap.
