Regional Sales Manager | Horticulture | North East | ~£30k - £35k
Are you an experienced sales professional with a background in selling to the nurseries and/or amenity sectors in the north east? Do you have a good understanding of commercial horticulture? If so, we want to hear from you.

Our client are a leading brand in the horticulture and garden and leisure sectors. Their products are sold to commercial growers, landscapers, amenity sector etc as well as independent garden centres and retailers, major mults and pet stores. They have a reputation for quality products and they are always looking to develop new and exciting lines to add value to their customers and consumers. They are a growing business and need the right people to help them grow further.
About the Job:
This role will focus on sales into the commercial growers, nurseries, landscapers and amenity sector customers. You will use your experience in this market and technical knowledge to grow sales and drive accounts forward. You will be able to approach a variety of customers in this space effectively and be comfortable talking to nursery managers, business owners, agronomists, buyers etc. You will utilise your account management skills to build long term relationships with customers and work closely with customers and internal teams to come up with solution selling.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in horticulture or will have the experience in this sector to understand commercial growing. You will have a proven commercial ability and be able to show your sales experience in these sectors. You will be able to work autonomously and have strong communication skills.
Sales experience or solid knowledge of commercial horticulture. You will be commercially minded and be able to show your sales ability. You will need to be able to travel around the north east and won't mind staying away from home on occasion.
DOE - as a guide ~£25k for a horticultural graduate, up to ~£30k - £35k + package and bonus for a more experienced sales professional.
