About the Candidate:

Are you a dynamic, results-driven sales professional with a passion for building strong customer relationships? We're looking for a Regional Sales Representative to take the next step in their career, managing our South region. In this role, you'll work closely with a diverse customer base-including retailers, garden centres, farmers, and small to mid-sized growers-fostering long-term partnerships and driving growth.

This opportunity is also ideal for candidates currently working in garden centre retail who are ready for a new challenge, particularly those interested in transitioning to the supplier side and selling into garden centres. If you're looking to step away from weekend retail hours and bring your industry knowledge into a more flexible, sales-focused role, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role:

This role offers a varied and stimulating opportunity for the right candidate to progress alongside the company's growth.

Unlike other seed companies you will engage with both Garden Centres for seed packet sales and wholesale seed while also interacting with small to medium-sized growers for wholesale seed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing accounts, serving as their primary point of contact.
  • Achieve and surpass sales revenue targets.
  • Negotiate favourable commercial terms to foster mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Strategically plan and cover all areas within the assigned territory.
  • Demonstrate a reasonable understanding of working computer systems.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in field sales, account management, and business development.
  • Good knowledge of gardening practices or good garden centre retail knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to travel within the designated region.

About the Company: Our client, a renowned seed merchant and grower with a long-standing reputation for producing high-quality seeds for commercial growers and home gardeners.
