About Our Client

Our client is a growth company supplying ornamental plants and technical expertise to the domestic landscaping market. They are looking to strengthen their team and currently have a vacancy for an experienced Customer Advisor.

Our client is backed by prominent links to Shropshire nurseries with many products being able to be sourced from their own-grown stocks. Furthermore, our client benefits from long-standing arrangements with both European and UK suppliers.

About the Role

This role will involve dealing with customers in person, over the phone, and via e-mail. Tasks will include pricing inquiries, prospecting for new business, securing orders and developing existing business in an agreed geographical area.

The Ideal Candidate

The right candidate will need to have good plant knowledge and an understanding of the landscape supply market. Good communication, planning, administration, and IT skills are also essential, as is the ability to be a self-starter.

Due to the location of the role applicants are likely to reside within the sales territory of the M1 corridor to manage accounts in East Midlands and Southeast.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to be able to demonstrate your horticultural knowledge and ability to sell. You will also need to be dynamic, passionate, and self-motivated to go and deliver sales targets.
