Senior National Account Manager
Tools / DIY Sector
UK - Hybrid (Remote / Office / Field-Based)

What will I be doing?

We're looking for a driven and commercially-minded Senior National Account Manager with a deep understanding of the retail hardware and DIY sector.

You'll be leading and managing strategic accounts across top UK retailers - growing long-term partnerships, delivering sales targets, and driving margin growth.

This is a senior, visible role in the business with direct ownership of relationships with major buying teams. You'll take the lead in presenting new products, negotiating terms, forecasting sales, and ensuring smooth delivery through collaboration with supply chain, finance, and product teams.

What do I need?

  • At least 5 years' experience in sales/account management within hand tools, DIY, hardware or similar.
  • Strong existing relationships with buyers at key UK retailers like B&Q, Screwfix, Toolstation or Wickes.
  • A proven track record of exceeding revenue and growth targets.
  • A confident negotiator and communicator with a strategic mindset.
  • Proficiency in forecasting, commercial planning, Excel and CRM systems.
