A brand-new role.

A well-known strawberry propagator, who sit within a diversified fresh produce business and focuses on developing unique growing systems, aiming to provide commercial fruit growers with the highest quality plants and customer service.

You'll be reporting to the Managing Director, you'll be key to supporting strategic decision-making.


You'll have the opportunity to travel abroad. You'll train and develop a team of motivated managers to help them in their careers.

In return? You will implement change on a senior level. There's an attractive remuneration package in return, as well as potential for accommodation and relocation support.

What's the role?
You'll have overall responsibility for 6 nurseries across the UK and Europe, propagating over 30 million strawberry plants annually.

You will initially complete a full overview of the business, both technically and commercially, to drive operational excellence and financial growth.

You'll be using your prior knowledge and expertise to lead the way in plant quality, sales, projects and more.

You'll also be representing the business with some of their biggest accounts. You'll be hosting visits from customers, getting to show them the fantastic work you and your team are doing.

The role will be a mix between the office and the nursery. You'll also be spending some time abroad, visiting their nursery in Bulgaria.

What do I need?
Because this is a new, senior role, we're looking for someone with extensive experience in propagating soft fruit.

You'll understand the pressures, challenges, and rewards of working on a propagation soft fruit operation. From doing this, you'll know how vital any department is.

Soft fruit growing experience will also be another one of your strengths. Whilst this role won't see you being hands-on day-to-day, you'll be able to use your knowledge to lead by example.
