Requirements:
- Demonstrated expertise in multi-skilled engineering through either time-served experience and/or qualifications.
- BTEC Level 3 qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent) is essential; HNC or HND in Engineering discipline is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of technical Health & Safety requirements.
- Previous experience in a similar role within food manufacturing is desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on cost-effective solutions.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Confident decision-maker with a commercial mindset.
- Track record of delivering performance improvements.
- HACCP level 3 certification is desirable.
Reporting to: Engineering Supervisor/Engineering Manager
Responsibilities:
- Support all site Engineering and Maintenance requirements to ensure efficient production.
- Minimise downtime and support the effective operation of the PPM system.
- Complete required documentation and service reports.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and environmental legislation.
- Provide technical advice and innovative solutions for problem-solving.
- Follow set standards and procedures governing engineering activities on site.
