About the Client

With an award-winning site based in Camden Town this Garden Centre group have an exciting opportunity to recruit for a brand-new location based in Richmond. This unique GC offers a wide range of house plants, lifestyle and interior products, as well as a range of outdoor plants and accessories. With links to local charities, they are continuously putting back into the local communities.

About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for the day to day running of the new Richmond store, you will be required to oversee a team of employees and be expecting to deal with customer queries and issues. You will also be involved in the buying of stock, talking to and building relationships with suppliers to ensure you secure the best deals at the best price. You will be the face of this garden centre so you will be expected to maintain a professional manner throughout.

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role you will need a passion for horticulture, with an interest in house plants. You will need experience in garden retail and be used to dealing with the day-to-day challenges this may cause. You will need strong communication and leadership skills, as well as a keen eye for detail and the ability to showcase stock in the right way to maximise sales.
