About the Client

With over 5,000 hectares of agricultural holdings, the client is Israel's largest grower and exporter of citrus as well as other fruits and vegetables. The company has annual sales of approximately $300 million with over 70% of the produce exported globally to all continents. Key destinations currently include the U.S.A. Canada, Europe and Japan providing solutions to the world's leading produce retailers. They are looking to expand their commercial team by bringing in a Product Specialist to sit across the commercial and procurement arms of the company.

About the Job

You will be coordinating shipments and arrivals between suppliers, 3rd party logistic service providers, customers and/or receiving sites. In addition, you will also support operations and liaise with the main packing service provider.
It's a particularly exciting time to join this business as they are experiencing significant growth and development whilst investing in new people and a new site.

The Ideal Candidate

It goes without saying you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills in addition to a proven track record operating in a Supply Chain / international logistics function within the fresh produce / food retail supply chain.
It is also critical that you are competent with computer packages such as Excel and preferably an ERP system.
