What Will I Be Doing?

As Supply chain Manager your role will be maintaining and building strong relationships with suppliers. It will be your job to oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, making sure products, new and existing, are delivered on time and in full. A key component to this role is stock and logistics management. Experience in the horticulture industry would be beneficial but not necessary.

Additional tasks outside of the traditional BDM may include project management, strategic planning, sales support, product and marketing design, logistics.

What Do I Need?

Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Part-Time Supply Chain Manager to join their team and assist them to double their turnover in the next 2/3 years. This role is ideal for someone who is semi-retired or looking for part-time work. To do this role efficiently and effectively, you will have prior experience sourcing recycled plastics from the Far East, Egypt or the Middle East.

You will also need a proven track record of achievement in procurement, negotiating skills, and be able to product reports on a regular and timely fashion.
