Are you a Supply Chain professional with experience working within the FMCG production setting?

The Business is a food production company with multiple sites across the UK looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join their supply, commercial and operations team.

The Role

As the Supply Chain Planner, you'll be the go-to person for handling customer orders and making sure that they have everything needed for production, so there's no disruption. You'll keep an eye on all ingredients and packaging to match up with their plans, making sure everything runs smoothly.

As always, when it comes to Supply Chain you will be part of a team that glues both commercial and operational teams within the business together, ensuring smooth and effective communication between the two.

With it being in Food, time is always of the essence, to you will need to be able to think on your feet, work with the wider teams to find solutions and alternatives if needed, to ensure at the end of the day the customer is provided with the highest standard of product possible.

About you

  • The business are lokoing for someone that has experience in and an understanding of supply chains and using ERP systems. You don't have to have food experience, but willing to learn the nuances.
  • You will already be proficient in using Microsoft Office 365, have your GCSEs in Maths and English, and be able to utilise you good computer skills.
  • Have a good understanding of databases, spreadsheets, and email systems something you will be skilled in already.
  • Be able to use your creative mindset to help suggest problem-solving solutions and be able to interpret data to help identify where action needs to be taken.
