Technical Agribusiness Consultant | Cambridgeshire
We are working with a very interesting agricultural start-up who are looking to add an experienced member of staff to their team in the shape of a Technical Agribusiness Consultant. This is due to continued business growth and the desire to develop new and ambitious products with up to date advice, whilst also managing a series of key accounts across the UK.
This will be an interesting blend of consultancy, account management and technical agronomic advice. This will see you managing the lead flagship product offering a superior level of insight and expertise to the UK farms that currently benefit from the business' goods. You will be inheriting a portfolio of some key clients stretching over a massive acreage for you to work closely with.
You will be still working on growing the customer base in the industry by marketing other products of the business, continually building relationships and flying the flag for the business wherever possible.
The Successful Candidate:
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
Excellent farm-based relationship building skills, ideally 5 years in a consultancy based role. A practical understanding of on farm gross margins is a must.
A familiarity with the farming inputs structure (Basis and Facts would be outstanding).
An outgoing personality that will lend itself to a relationship building role and a real desire to make an immediate difference to your customers.
Brilliant computer and communication skills, along with the ability to successfully manage a pipeline of work to mutual benefits of your customers.
