About our Client

We are recruiting for an established creamery, and they have a fantastic vacancy for an experienced Technical Manager to join the team on this lovely island.

About the Role

As Technical Manager, you will manage the technical department, ensuring the business is fully compliant and up to date with legislation/customer requirements and maintaining full accreditation. In conjunction with external laboratories, monitor and report on the safety, quality and specification of all products, ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and implement corrective action procedures in areas of non-compliance. You will be lead auditor for the business and audit suppliers and farms as required.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be ideally educated to a degree level in food science, food technology, or a food safety-related discipline for this role. With a minimum of 4 years in a Technical Manager position. Experience in managing a team, HACCP, BRC and food safety qualified. We are looking for diary knowledge ideally, if not you must be experienced in chilled food production.
